CompenFlight is an Irish-based flight compensation service. We exist to do one thing: make sure passengers get the money they're legally owed under EU261 — without the paperwork, the hassle, or the runaround from airlines.
Anyone who has tried to claim compensation from an airline knows how it goes. You fill in their form. You wait weeks. Then you get a templated rejection citing "extraordinary circumstances" — even when the delay was entirely within the airline's control.
EU261/2004 is one of the strongest passenger protection laws in the world. It's been on the books since 2004. But airlines have a financial incentive to make the process as difficult as possible, and most passengers simply give up.
We started CompenFlight because that's not good enough. The law is clear. The amounts are fixed. Passengers deserve what they're owed — and they shouldn't need a legal background to get it.
EU Regulation 261/2004 entitles passengers to fixed compensation of €250, €400, or €600 depending on flight distance — for delays of 3 hours or more, cancellations with less than 14 days' notice, and denied boarding due to overbooking.
Airlines are aware of their obligations. They also know that the majority of passengers never follow through on a claim. Our job is to be the ones who do follow through — professionally, persistently, and on your behalf.
We are not a law firm. We are claims management specialists who work exclusively in EU261 flight compensation. It's all we do, which means we're good at it.
